The moment the bus stopped at my destination, I rushed out and practically ran home. Okay, take off the shoes and take some bags from the kitchen. Then, run up the stairs and start packing, I told myself.
As my front door swung open, I nearly tripped as I ran inside. "I'm leaving at four," I said out loud as I walked past my father. When I turned around, I was surprised to see two men sitting on the sofa, staring at me. Not good, I thought, but I politely greeted them.
In 20 minutes, I packed three sets of clothes, my personal stuff, and etc. into my black duffel bag. I put on my TN uniform and shut the windows. Basically, I hid all my important things. With that, I ran downstairs and told my father that I was ready. As I rushed past the living room, a small black luggage caught my eye. I started at it for a moment with curiosity. Without thinking, I asked, "Where are you going?" with my eyes still focused on the luggage. Father just looked at me (I felt his eyes on me) and for a few seconds, he seemed to hesitate.
"Oh, I'm going to Las Vegas with my friends," the answer finally came with a calm, cheerful tone.
"Oh." I just turned around, took my luggage and head outside. Apparently, Father wasn't going to drive me. It turned out that Simon (his friend) would be driving me; furthermore, my father was going on the same car. They were all planning to leave as soon as Miki and I were dropped off at our required places.
I got inside the car and waited for fifteen minutes. Late. I just sighed and shook my head. After for what seemed like eternity, Father came out with Miki. To my surprise, he was planning to put the dog in the trunk O_O, but after his friends persuaded him to put the dog in the car, he did so.
I later found out that Miki was going to be taken care by my grandparents (Dad's side) -_- which was bad news, because Miki would probably be treated quite badly there...
Also, I saw Father took some cage with him...bleh...and guess what???
Before he closed the garage, I heard him mumbled, "Oh wait...I forgot Miki's food. Ah, who cares. He'll be okay." >.< Heh, I was pissed off. Poor poor Miki. I arrived at church five minutes late. Simon reluctantly drove all the way in, which he was not supposed to -_- Anyway, I got out the car immediately, grabbed my luggage and simply walked off, ignoring what my father had to say. I couldn't care less...I highly doubted that he told my mother in VN where he was going. If I hadn't ask where he was going, he'd probably get away with it. I was angry at how he was looking forward to going to LV so badly that he didn't care about Miki's well-being nor mine. "Hitch a ride if I'm not home yet," he told me before I left.
As I heard Simon's car driving away, I walked up briskly up to the bus. A few girls called out my name and waved. I tried to smile. JP saw me, and he walked toward me...
I was so glad that I was finally free from home. In just a few more minutes, I would be away from my reality....I would be temporary away from all my troubles and concerns..
To be continued..
